Research projects classified as early phase clinical trials under the NSW early phase clinical trials framework will be required to go through the Early Phase Clinical Trials (EPCT) review pathway. Please see the submission resources on our EPCT page.

If clarification is required by researchers regarding which level of risk their study would be classified as, it is strongly encouraged to consult with the Research Ethics Office regarding the level of risk in their projects before they begin preparing their applications.
