Child Population and Translational Health research

Child Population and Translational Health research

The Child Population and Translational Health research team are a research group based at the Charles Perkins Centre, Camperdown campus of the University of Sydney. We are a team of over 20 researchers affiliated with the Children’s Hospital at Westmead Clinical School, Faculty Medicine and Health of the University of Sydney.

We use linked routinely collected administrative data and clinical data to understand the number of children affected by various conditions, identify the main causes, and assess the impact on child health, well-being and healthcare use. Findings from our studies are used to help inform and improve paediatric healthcare services, guidelines and policies.
