The Kids Neuro Trials Randwick group are a clinical trials unit of the Paediatric Neurology Research Group within the Department of Neurology based at the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. We serve the treatment needs of children living with neurological, neurogenetic, neurodevelopmental and neuromuscular conditions. As new treatments are rapidly developed, our team focus on delivering these opportunities for disease transformation efficiently, and safely to kids.

We are a team of neurology nurses and doctors, integrating research into clinical care. Our team has enabled access to cutting edge treatments for children with a wide range of conditions. These are including but not limited to, Angelman syndrome, motor neuron conditions, stroke, complex epilepsies, and tuberous sclerosis complex.

We also facilitate the whole research lifecycle for both industry and investigator led research and trials, offering expert and compassionate multidisciplinary care through the clinical research process. Together, we balance safety and efficacy of new treatments, alongside support and care to families throughout this process.

We aim to achieve the best possible outcomes and quality of life for the kids that we treat and strive to provide a high-quality experience for both patients and their families.
